The Peninsula Music Festival welcomes Alexander Sevastian to his first appearance. The Massenet, Galliano, Weber Konzertstück, and Gindin are receiving their first performances at PMF. Ticheli's Blue Shades was first performed here in 2008 and this is the second performance. Some of the Dvorak Slavonic Dances have been previously performed on eight occasions at the PMF, most recently in 1988. Weber's Invitation to the Dance was performed previously in 1981 conducted by Byron Hanson. The Enesco Romanian Rhapsody was performed previously in 1990.
