You are invited to join the team of Ushers and Parking Attendants for the Peninsula Music Festival. A season of amazing concerts by a professional symphony orchestra is held every August for 3 weeks at the Door Community Auditorium. If you'd like to usher and/or assist as a parking attendant (or if you have questions/want more information), please contact Jill Quigley at (920) 360-5772 or email quigx2@aol.com. Ushers and Parking Attendants get to enjoy a great concert once their work is done....please consider this enjoyable volunteer opportunity!


PENINSULA MUSIC FESTIVAL NAMES CONCERTMASTERIgor Yuzefovich

At the final concert of the Peninsula Music Festival’s August 2011 season, Music Director and Conductor Victor Yampolsky announced the new concertmaster of the Festival Orchestra. Igor Yuzefovich will take over the duties effective with the 60th Anniversary Season in August of 2012.

The Festival held auditions for the chair over a two-year period of time seeing five different candidates. Each violinist led the orchestra for one week of the August season and was also a featured soloist. Maestro Yampolsky invited concertmaster candidates from all over the country. The final decision was made with input from the first violin section and the principal string players of the other sections of the orchestra (second violin, viola, cello and bass). Mr. Yuzefovich was the overwhelming favorite. More......

The 60th Symphony Season - August 7 - 25, 2012

Please plan to attend the 60th season: August 7-25, 2012. All nine symphony concerts are performed in the wonderful acoustics of the intimate Door County Auditorium in Fish Creek, Wisconsin. The PMF Orchestra consists of outstanding musicians from around the country and the world, most of whom have been returning to the Festival for many years. The programs have been planned to include a variety of interesting music, some new and some familiar. The season includes an outstanding arrary of guest artists. New: Program the 60th Season Results: We've carefully czeched all the votes, making sure we have all counties included, and the winner is: The Bartered Bride Overture by Bedrich Smetana. Finishing second was Herold's Zampa Overture, third was The Magic Flute by Mozart, Rossini's Semiramide was fourth, and last, but certainly not least, Massenet's Phedre. Herold, Mozart, Rossini, and Massenet pledged their complete support to Mr. Smetana and urged everyone to buy lots of tickets to hear the performance. Thanks to everyone who voted and if your choice was not the winner, remember, there is always next year.

Ticket Information for the 60th Season

Single tickets for the 60th season, August 7-25, 2012, are available now on the new PMF on-line system. You may also order Feb Fest 2012 tickets, Preconcert Talk, donate on-line, and purchase gift certificates.

Season tickets for the full nine concert season are on sale now: contact the PMF Office at (920) 854-4060 to purchase nine concert season tickets.

For the 60th season there will be no Flex or Thursday Series tickets.
